Sean Livingston, MD
Dr. Sean Livingston, or “Dr. Sean,” was born and raised in Crystal River, Florida, a small coastal
town known for its natural springs and manatees. He received his Bachelor of Science in 2013, Master of Public Health in 2015, and Medical Degree in 2021 – all from the University of Florida, “Go Gators!” While in medical school, Dr. Sean was inducted into the Gold Humanism Honor Society, a community of physicians recognized for their compassionate care. After medical school, he moved to Nashville, Tennessee, where he completed his residency at Vanderbilt and then relocated to Austin.
He fell in love with pediatrics early in his career when he realized talking about superheroes was part of the job (his favorite is Spiderman). He has loved watching his patients grow and meet new milestones, from the first “happy birthday” in the newborn nursery to graduating high school. He is excited to join the Southwest Pediatric family where he hopes to build a strong partnership with his patients and their families.Dr. Sean has special interests in advocacy, LGBTQ+ health, and mental health.
During his free time, Dr. Sean enjoys running/biking around Lady Bird Lake, playing volleyball at Zilker Park, exploring new restaurants, and hiking with his dog, Alligator.
