Dr. Haydee Rimer

A message to our patients:

Dear Southwest Pediatrics Families,

It is with mixed emotions that we announce the retirement of Dr. Rimer from Southwest Pediatrics this Fall.  We are so grateful for the 25 years that Dr. Rimer has devoted to the health and wellbeing of her patients!  Dr Rimer will have more time to spend with her family as well as other activities that bring her joy, and we wish her all the best.  Dr. Rimer’s last day in the clinic will be October 31st.   We will miss her so much!

We want to invite all of Dr. Rimer’s patients to our 25th Anniversary party on Saturday, September 19th from 10 am to 2 pm.  It will be a wonderful opportunity to wish her well and grab some awesome photos together.  Our party is a celebration of our 25 years with you, every step of the way, and to introduce you to our new physician, Dr. Gabrielle Milillo, a graduate of Dell Children’s Pediatric Residency program.

Dr. Rimer’s patients are welcome to select any provider at Southwest Pediatrics to continue the care for their children when Dr. Rimer is not available.  All of our providers are very happy to accept Dr. Rimer’s patients.  Simply let us know who you have selected when you schedule your next well child visit.  No record transfer will be necessary, as Southwest Pediatrics will continue to be the records custodian for Dr. Rimer’s patients, and your child’s care will continue uninterrupted.

If you choose to transfer care to a provider outside of Southwest Pediatrics or any Austin Health Partners location, you are welcome to request records in writing with the form on our website:
(https://swpedi.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/SWP-ROI-Form.pdf). Standard transfer fees will apply.

Please take a moment to wish Dr. Rimer a Happy Retirement when you’re in the office.

Sincerely,
The providers at Southwest Pediatric Associates
