Dr. Jazy Hill, MD
Claiming Austin as her home since 2013, Dr. Jazy (like the music!) Hill is thrilled to have the privilege of caring for children and teens in Central Texas. With a childhood that saw her moving around often before settling in Houston, Dr. Jazy loves meeting new people and believes everyone has a beautiful story to tell.
A proud graduate of The University of Texas at Austin, Dr. Jessica Hill earned her B.S.A. inBiology Honors with a minor in Sociology. She then made the short drive to San Antonio to attend the Long School of Medicine. There, she had the privilege of working with many Latino patients and brushing up on her Spanish. Her community service work, including leadership of the Pride Clinic, led to her being elected class lead of the Gold Humanism Society.
Dr. Jazy has a passion for working with adolescents, with special interests in mental health, LGBTQIA+ health, women’s health, and children/teens with neurodivergence. After witnessing the crucial role of lactation support in the NICU, Dr. Jazy completed the requirements to becoming an International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant and will take her certification boards shortly.
When not in the office, Dr. Jazy can usually be found enjoying the outdoors. Whether running the Austin Marathon, camping, or hiking the greenbelt with her partner, she won’t let a littleTexas heat keep her inside! She also enjoys advocating for the well-being of all children in Texas and has been involved with the Texas Pediatric Society since 2018. Her favorite indoor activities include yoga, knitting, and catching up with friends.
Dr. Jazy believes that the joy kids bring to those around them is one of life’s greatest treasures. As a pediatrician, she feels incredibly lucky to support children and their families, helping each child grow into their amazing selves. She knows there is no one-size-fits-all approach to raising kids and looks forward to getting to know each child and family individually.
