What Insurance Plans Do We Accept?
We know that navigating insurance can feel overwhelming, but you’re not alone—we’re here to help make the process as smooth as possible. Southwest Pediatric Associates is contracted with most major insurance providers, and we encourage you to review the accepted insurance plans on the Austin Health Partners website. To confirm coverage, we recommend contacting your insurance company directly to verify if we are an in-network provider.
If your insurance isn’t listed, you can still see us! You may qualify for a self-pay discounted rate, and we’re happy to walk you through that process. Also, be sure to check which lab your insurance company partners with, as this may affect lab-related costs.
Please note: Families are responsible for any fees not covered by their insurance provider. Your invoice will include two logos—ours and our central business office– Austin Health Partners.
For Newborn Parents
Welcoming a new baby comes with so many to-dos, and we’re here to help! Be sure to add your newborn to your health plan within the first 30 days to avoid coverage gaps. When you call your insurance company, have your baby’s birth certificate and social security number ready. Let them know you’d like to add your child to your health plan.
If we are unable to verify active insurance by your baby’s 2-month well visit, you will be considered self-pay. Should that happen, we’ll be happy to guide you through the process.
